I love to use acrylics because of the flexibility of the medium.

It can have a bold look for deep rich color or can be thinned for layering glazes.

I take a contemporary, realistic style to my painting and enjoy enhancing the color and tone of a subject, finding new ways to be creative with paint.

Light is part of the drama that becomes the subtle subject.

I love the process of painting. From a concept in my head, to a simple pencil drawing and building it with paint, a little at time, until the moment is captured. Holding it on canvas

Audrey was born in Cork, Ireland and moved to Canada 18 years ago.

She is now living and painting on Prince Edward Island, in the Maritimes, on Canadas' east coast.

She is an Active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists
